The Department of Informatics Policy - MCT aims to formulate policy proposals and programs nationwide related to Information Technology - IT. Such policies and programs are aimed at the technological capability of the computing industry, automation, telecommunications, microelectronics, software and technical services associated with installation in the country, attracting investments in these areas and increasing the supply of local goods and services that contribute to the development and greater competitiveness of other sectors of the economy, with beneficial effects for Brazilian citizens.
