The present report is the first product (P1) of the project “Monitoring of Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Thermoelectric Power Plants in – Diagnosis Phase”. It thus reports, as described in the Contract and Work Proposal, the Consolidated Work Plan, the basic team, the activities carried out and the activities under implementation.

Report - Estimate of Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Fuel Burning in

The present work gathers data from the National Energy Balance (BEN) in the 1970–2001 period with the use of a program called benemis_e, using the Visual Basic language on Excel worksheets, which enable the visualization of graphs and tables in different presentations, by year, sector or fuel.

Report - Analysis of the Vulnerability of the Brazilian Population to the Sanitary Impacts of Climate Change

The main objective of this report is to prepare a retrospective study on the social and environmental vulnerability of the population to climate extreme events and to endemic diseases that are sensitive to climate changes, as well to model a Geographic Information System capable of indicating critical situations of morbimortality risk caused by the diseases included in the study.
