The Secretariat of Policies and Programs of Research and Development - SEPED aims to deploy and manage policies and programs aimed at developing science, technology and innovation in the country: in the areas of Mathematical Sciences, the Engineering, Earth and Life in Special Health and Biotechnology, Nanotechnology and in the areas of strategic interest to the research and sustainable use of national assets, especially in Biodiversity, Ecosystems, Weather, Climate and Hydrology, Marine Sciences, Antarctica and Global Climate Change.
