NATIONAL ENVIRONMENT COUNCIL - CONAMA, exercising the power conferred upon it by item X of Articles 79 and 48 of Decree no. 88,351 of June 1st, 1983 and considering the provisions of Act no.181 of March 6th, 1987 by His Excellency the State Minister of Culture, RESOLVES:
Art. 1 - To declare as Conservation Units the following categories of Culturally Relevant Ecological Sites, as created by actions of the public power:
Ecological Stations;
Ecological Reserves;
Areas of Environmental Protection, especially their wildlife zones and Ecological Halls;
National, State, and Local Parks;
Biological Reserves;
National, State, and Local Forests;
Natural Monuments;
Botanical Gardens;
Zoological Gardens; and
Tree Farms.
Art. 29 - This Resolution shall come into force on the date of its publication.
Art. 39 - All provisions to the contrary are hereby revoked.
