Resolution no. 18, of May 6, 1986, creates the PROCONVE;

Resolution no. 4, of June 15, 1988, makes provisions regarding emissions of crankcase gases by diesel-cycle engines;

Resolution no. 251, of January 7, 1999, makes provisions regarding criteria, procedures, and maximum opacity limits of flue emissions for the evaluation of the maintenanee conditions of Diesel cycle motor vehicles running in the national territory, to be used in I/M programs.
